Hi, my name is Jeff Starr and I began my professional photography career in 1999. I have spent that last 20 years working in TV and Fashion.
I primarily photograph children, family portraits, weddings, birthday parties, concerts, dance recitals, sporting events and lectures.
I’ve done everything from holiday cards to being the official photographer at Carnegie Hall.
My goal is always the same; I want to take great pictures that the client is excited to share.
My photographic style is to capture life in the moment. As a result, this allows the photography session to be low stress. The more fun you have the more dynamic the images will be. Let’s go with the flow and capture great moments.
If you have specific ideas you want to capture, great! I can do that too.
Photography shouldn’t need to break the bank. As a father of two children, I know how important it is to document life’s precious moments. I don’t want price to be a roadblock. I don’t work with assistants and that keeps the cost down for you.

The price I quote you is the price you pay. After the photography session, I will:
- Process the images for color
- Clean up images to address any minor retouching needs
- Provide you with a download link to approximately 15 of my favorite photos.
- Send a second link to all of the images from the photo shoot
Please note that High-End retouching is an additional price quote. I retouch professionally for the fashion industry so if you can dream it, I can to it. I define “High End” as a request that takes more than 5 minutes per image.
